Valentino Rossi Will Still Race in 2019 ?

MotoGP racing observer Carlo Pernat believes that veteran rider Valentino Rossi will still compete at MotoGP by the 2019 season.

Pernat said  Valentino Rossi will only stop racing once his body and mind is no longer able to support him as a racer.
Currently, Rossi's contract with Yamaha will end at the end of the 2018 season. However, Pernat is confident that Yamaha will extend the Italian rider’s contract.
Moreover, Rossi has stated will still race if he is still competitive.
"I'm sure Valentino Rossi has signed a contract for 2019. Yamaha made the right move because Rossi is a rider who is always there in the front row. "
"In addition, Valentino Rossi is always afraid of retiring, and he would only retire if he really cannot be able to continue racing anymore," said Pernat, as quoted by GPOne.
Pernat believes Rossi will still be able to compete with other riders in the 2019 season. In the 2017 season, Rossi actually led the standings early in the season before their performance declined due to uncompetitive motor factors and injuries suffered.
"Rossi is always in a condition trained physically and have a mental match like a young rider. That's what will make him sure to continue his career. "
"After really retiring, Rossi will have a future in the VR46 team that will take part in MotoGP," said Pernat who also once the manager of this Rossi.
